The trivial use of informational parameters obtained from biologically active points (BAPs), including those structured along acupuncture channels (AC), usually implies identifying one or more BAPs with some extreme parameters. Such results are subsequently used to determine the tactics of individualized reflexotherapy. This area of application can be considered as 'classic' for EPD in general and 'Prognoz' EPD in particular. However, it should be noted that the versatility inherent in the design of 'Prognoz' EPD system makes it possible to significantly expand the uses of this method. Therefore, considerable experience has already been gained in effective use of 'Prognoz' EPD in areas other than the 'classic' one.

The examples of original uses of our technology given in this section show that it is a wide-range measuring system, adaptable to various tasks of studying and monitoring human activity. In addition, as the presented examples show, 'Prognoz' EPD can be successfuly combined with other methods for assessing the functional state (FS) of the body. For instance, 'Prognoz' EPD is most often and most efficiently used in coupling with registration of heart rate variability (HRV), especially in dynamic diagnostics employing a variety of stress tests. Thus, practice shows that 'Prognoz' EPD can be adapted not only for a wide range of tasks by itself, but also for use as an additional source of information in an already established research process.
